Manpower is working with a Leading Engineering Client in Northumberland who are looking for a HSE Manager to join their team.

- The successful candidate will possess the personality and experience to influence and manage relationships at a senior level both internally and externally.
- You will establish the Corporate HSE Programme working in collaboration with directors of function across the organisation.
- Providing a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, customers and stakeholders upholding our SHEQ culture where "each & everyone always thinks, talks and acts safely".
- Ensure site compliance with HSE-related legislation, including industry developments, initiating appropriate compliance actions where required.
- Collaborating with your counterpart in our Glasgow Office you will ensure consistency of approach across our UK sites.
- Identify and manage HSEQ Management Systems and HSE Certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Maintain a controlled HSE-related documentation library that is well maintained and fit-for-purpose.
- Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.
- HSE budget setting and management.


What do you need to qualify for the role?


You should be able to demonstrate the depth and breadth of knowledge and experience required to support the key deliverables of the role. To underpin your practical experience, the successful candidate will possess the following credentials; -
- An engineering-related degree (essential)
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (essential)
- CMIOSH - Chartered Member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (essential)
- Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (desirable)
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental Management (desirable)
