Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Finance Analyst based at their prestigious facility in Kingston. This is a full-time temporary role until End of March 2020, working a 36.25-hour week. This role is paying up to £39,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
*Due to the urgency of this role we can only accept any applications from candidates who are available immediately or only have a notice period of 1 week.
Key accountabilities:
- Accounting & Reporting
- Accurate and timely financial accounting, reporting through inhouse and third parties
- Carry out Month end closure and associate processes
- Coordinate various audits via statutory and internal audit
- Goods receipts review
- Trial Balance and schedules review
- Month end Journals governance and review
- Various central reporting
- Various tax reporting and compliances VAT return, Indirect Taxation tool, Corporation Tax computation
- Intercompany Support
- GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt)
Risk Management & Controls:
- Ensure that the Global Financial Controls Framework is operating
- Control Health Indicator (CHI) controls review and compliance
Transformational Projects:
- Implement programmes in partnership w. ETS to drive world-class financial processes
- Eliminate, simplify, automate and/or centralise transactional activities
Experience required:
Semi-Qualified Accountant CIMA / ACCA
Experience in managing month end process and financials - P/L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow of a large/mid- sized organisation
Understanding of controls
Strong data accuracy skills and attention to detail
Process simplification/process excellence
Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems
Excellent in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
Working in multi-national teams and/or a virtual team environment
Occasional Travel to Port Sunlight would be needed
Technical Skills;
Strong Accounting Knowledge
Hands on experience in SAP
Strong Process Knowledge
