Head of Operations

I am currently recruiting for an Head of Operations for a growing Polyolefin recycling company - Based North Tyneside.

As a Head of Operations, you will report to the CEO. You are expected to implement the right processes and practices across the organisation. You will be expected to work from the North Tyneside based site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way

• Project manage the implementation of the capital upgrade programme whilst ensuring minimal disruption to operations

• Improving operational management systems, processes and best practice

• Helping the organisation's processes remain legally compliant

• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability

• Recruit, train and supervise staff

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Proven work experience as a operations manager or a similar role

• Strong people management skills

• Experience dealing with absence, disciplinary, grievance

• Demonstrated project management skills/experience on successfully delivered projects of over £1million

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in Budgeting and forecasting

• Familiarity with business and financial principles

• A degree in business ,Operations Management or a related field
