The Role
As Creative Artworker, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and marketing team in creating all consumer and trade marketing design for existing and new toy brands
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all design projects across the following areas:
- POS artwork
- Consumer/Trade press advertisements
- Online banners and social media posts
- Creative for trade and consumer events
- Retail catalogue pages, flyers and publications
- Packaging adaptations
- Manage the briefing, creation and delivery of retailer catalogue pages to key deadlines
- Receive briefs and create artwork using existing assets for key projects
- Utilise licensor style guides whilst showing creativity in designs
- Work with licensors to gain approvals in a timely manner
- Understand the product lifecycle and key timelines within the retail calendar
- Assist with the organisation of trade and consumer exhibitions, retailer previews and sales meetings
- Managing the image library
- Attending ad-hoc photo shoots as required
- Updating the company website
- Managing social media pages, design and implementing exciting content to engage users
The Person
We are looking for an individual who is resilient and proactive. This is a pivotal role within the marketing team and the candidate is expected to work closely with the department and wider company, assuring all tasks are executed correctly and on time.
Key Skills and Requirements we are looking for:
- High-energy individual with a passion for product
- Proven track record of high calibre artwork design, preferably for consumer products
- Experience working under pressure in a high-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels as well as being a team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Be able to work under own initiative, with support from the Marketing Manager, on projects from concept to completion
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Effectively manage multiple projects and prioritise within key deadlines
- Proficient in the latest Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver programs along with a strong working knowledge of PC/MAC and software including MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Filming and editing for online content preferable
- Graduate calibre - Graphic Design degree preferable
