IT Engineer / Trainer

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Engineer / Trainer to join the team at our Client site in Sheffield. Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for providing a range of comprehensive support, training and implementation solutions to over 10,000 end users.

This is a diverse role and responsibilities will include; assisting in the design, testing and implementation of unique and bespoke solutions for our Client, carrying out and coordinating authorised ad-hoc installations, working alongside Deskside Support to provide customised services/ solutions as well as providing demonstrations of new assistive solutions and technologies in response to Client requests in either workshops, 1-2-1 sessions or at Client sites.

This role is the perfect opportunity for candidates looking to develop their skills as your communication skills and passion for IT are more important than your technical ability. You must be willing to travel to client sites with occasional hotel stays.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent IT troubleshooting and logical fault-finding skills, experience in supporting Desktop technologies such as Windows 7 & 10 with the ability to work unsupervised in a range of environments.

Experience in the configuration and use of specialised assistive technologies e.g. Zoomtext, Dragon and Microsoft Ease of Access would be desirable but not essential.
