Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on Behalf of our Client based in Loughton for a Machine Operator to join their sheet metal team with an immediate start!

Job Title: Temporary Machine Operator

Department: Sheet Metal

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Temporary - Permanent

Hours: 39 per week

7.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thurs

7.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION

Specific initial duties include, but are not excluded to:

• Operate Sheet Metal, fabrication and production paint line
• Working on an Insertion machine, large volume production. Repeated levels of concentration required to maintain expected quality levels. Some manual lifting required.
• To ensure consistent high quality of finished product, working within drawing specification and that the product is suitable for further stages of manufacture.
• Ensure machine is maintained in accordance with your Line Manager's requirements.
• Following basic engineering drawings and instructions
• Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed to enable smooth handover to following shift.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Machining experience in a sheet metal department.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Be safety aware with the ability to work within the companies QHSE Policies
• Reliable, Flexible, Hardworking and punctual
• Have an engineering aptitude
• Possess dexterity and a flexible working attitude
