Our Role
SSE Enterprise Contracting is spread across the UK delivering various M&E services to Private customers across the UK. Our business is currently going through an exciting period of growth and requires an experienced High Voltage Business Manager to further develop the region, lead the team and grow the HV business in line with the company's aims.
The HV Business Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing and delivering High Voltage works from 33kv to 132kV and will be responsible for the entire HV business operation run from our Plymouth and Exeter offices.
In addition they will be required to develop a significant supply chain to broaden our delivery options and manage staff in accordance with SSE organisational safety rules.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in applying for this position you should have demonstrable experience and a solid track record of managing High Voltage construction projects and staff within the UK.
You will have an extensive background in managing a P/L account and will ideally have spent time either as a High Voltage project engineer or in an HV SAP or Electrical AP role previously. You should have an electrically biased background including a relevant Degree (or equivalent) qualification in electrical engineering and recognised safety qualifications such as IOSH/SMSTS/NEBOSH.
