Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our Client based in Bishop's Stortford for a Quality Inspector to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing company on a permanent basis with an immediate start!
Position available: Quality Inspector
Hourly Rate: £18.50
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and assisting the Inspection team
- Ensuring compliance with inspection procedures
- Producing inspection reports and FAIRs
- Controlling of non-conformities and MRB activities
- Handling complaints, rejects, and taking quick and effective corrective and preventive action.
- Continuously monitoring and reviewing the contents of the Quarantine Stores
- Keeping relevant records up-to-date
- Providing training to staff as required
- Liaising with relevant internal/external customers
- Liaising with auditors over auditing of the facilities
- Continually seeking to improve inspection activities
- Signing of C of C's and EASA Form 1's
- Ensuring the cleanliness, neatness and orderliness of his/her area of responsibility
- Undertaking special tasks as directed by the senior management
- Performing any other duties within capabilities as directed by the company
Qualification & skills required for this position
- Previous technical experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of problem solving techniques
- Use of PC and related programmes
- Strong communication skills
- Results focus
