An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Change Communications Officer based at their prestigious facility in Blackfriars, London. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to £35,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. Please note, ASAP start required, no more than 2 weeks' notice

Work as part of a team with a focus on developing communication and change management deliverables in a cross functional project covering transformation of process'.

Contribute to and support a number of projects, with opportunities to learn from communication, change management, project management, marketing and other professionals. This role will provide primary communication and change management support to geography, segment and corporate-function activities.

The Role:

  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Participate in internal team discussions - offering ideas and insights
  • Draft content for key deliverables and coordinate activities to support change activities & stakeholders' needs
  • Gather and synthesize relevant information from various subject matter experts
  • Manage the review process to gain approval of key deliverables
  • Create project plans and timelines for deliverables and activities
  • Review and edit documents for clarity, consistency and quality
  • Develop technical knowledge and skills in the areas of communication and change management
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Assess the change impact
  • Complete change management assessments
  • Create change management strategy
  • Identify, analyse, prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Consult and coach project teams
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
  • Support communication efforts

  • Support and engage senior leaders, influencing at all business levels across multiple stakeholders
  • Coach managers and supervisors
  • Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts with other change specialists
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Manage stakeholders
  • Track and report issues
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Support change management at the organisational level
  • Will support and input into the strategic change deployment plan

Key Requirements:

  • At least two years of communication experience
  • Good communicator with excellent all-around listening, writing, editorial and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross team, cross functionally and cross culturally
  • Detail-oriented, organized and adaptable with solid business and financial acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, self-manage and prioritize workload
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential issues
  • Can work flexibly - with colleagues in multiple locations, as required
  • Synthesizes direction, navigates ambiguity and prioritizes actions from a variety of stakeholders
  • Works efficiently and effectively under pressure in an environment of continuous improvement
  • A fast learner with a 'can do' attitude
