Class 1 Driver Chelmsford

We are looking for Class 1, (C+E, LGV, HGV)Drivers for the Chelmsford area, to support our local Royal Mail Delivery Office.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid C+E (Class 1) HGV driving licence, a digital tachocard and a valid CPC qualification card. Although we are looking for at least 2 years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles.

Once you have passed all relevant check, and we have placed you, you'll be required to follow schedules and itineraries to the letter, so the ability to follow detailed instructions is a key skill for this role.

The pay will begin between £12.50-£15.50 per hour depending on what shifts are worked, however this will increase after 12 weeks with us and from November leading in to the Christmas peak to £17.77-£20.09

You will need to be able to commute to Chelmsford, but we also support other local depots so having your own transport would be advantageous.
