Manpower are looking for an experienced HGV Fitter to work based in Ipswich and mobile work in the surroudning areas inc Felixstowe and Stowmarket.
Working on a mixed fleet that includes Trailer Units, DD Trailers, Tipping Trailers, Curtain Trailers, Rigids and Vans, duties will include:
Service, repairs and general maintenance
Diagnosing and resolving problems
Fault finding
Inspecting
Working with pneumatics and hydraulics
Stripping down trailers and rebuilding parts
Although mainly workshop based they will be some breakdown cover required
Skills required:
City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent in a relevant field
Previous experience of working with, and knowledge of, Commercial Vehicles is essential.
Full driving licence (HGV Licence desirable)
