The BLSS Marketing Team aims to employ 18 subject-level student ambassadors across both undergraduate and postgraduate for the following subjects (some subjects are missing as they have already been filled by retained Social Media Ambassadors from 2019/20):
Business Management/HR Management
Specialist Management (Event, Venue and Experience Management, Global Sport Management, Esport Management and Global Hospitality Management)
Accounting / Finance
Law with a specialist pathway (American Legal Studies, Business or Criminology)
International Law / LPC / PGDL
Social Sciences -
Criminology / Professional Policing / Security Studies
Psychology / Health Psychology / Forensic Psychology
Ambassadors will be producing content primarily for the faculty's TwitterandInstagram platforms, with some content also featuring on our FacebookandLinkedIn pages.

Ambassadors will be paid for 2 hours each week at the standard ambassador rate (£8.72) in return for one social media post a week during term time. This can range from a simple image and text post to full blog entries.
Ambassadors will be expected, where possible, to cover events such as field trips, guest lectures and other extra-curricular activities, alongside covering day to day life on their course.
Training will be provided before the role begins. This will outline the types of content we're looking for, as well as the expectations for tone and language.
What we're looking for
Successful applicants must be self-motivated, outgoing students who can find creative ways to cover life at BCU week to week.
Applicants must be comfortable with using social media, and have strong writing and photography skills.
Applicants must be available to work throughout term time on campus (although exceptions will be made for short-term placements).
Some out-of-hours work may be required to cover certain events.
Applicants must have access to a smartphone with a good quality camera.
Applicants will have to pass an interview.
