About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Survival Equipment Leading Fitter.
You'll carry out the scheduled maintenance, repair and modification of all AEA.
Responsibilities will include liaising with CEST and Commodities to ensure supply of equipment is maintained and SI(T)'s are managed, fitting of AEA to 100 Sqn Pilots, air experience passengers both Military and Civilian and provide support to Leeming contract and other Babcock contracts as required as well as 100Sqn detachments within the UK and worldwide.
What do I need to do the role?
You will hold NVQ Level 3 in Aeronautical Engineering (Survival Equipment) or City & Guilds part 1 & 2 in Survival Equipment.
You will also have knowledge of iFAGT system experience within a Flying Clothing Environment and Q-AvMedSE, Q-SE-AC with a sound knowledge of Part M and 145 regulation.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
What else do I need to know?
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
