Lead Operator

Manpower are recruiting on behalf of our client based in West Edinburgh for a Lead Operator to join the Production Team. This a permanent role to oversee the Production and dispatch operations for the business. The shifts will be Monday to Friday spilt over Early shift - 6am - 2pm and Backshift 2pm - 22.00pm. The role will be working closely with the Team Leaders to ensure quality of business output is maintained across all shifts.

Key Responsibilites:

Functional authority over all Production and dispatch team members when carrying out supervisory duties.

Supervising team performance on regular basis

Ensuring H & S compliance and safe working practices

Ensuring site security is maintained

Supervising production and line set up/clean down

Supervising the dispatch team on picking

All other duties as required.

Experience:

You must possess a manufacturing background

Proficient in IT, including Microsoft and Excel
