About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking for a Business Analyst who will deliver the data analysis, monitoring, reconciliation of learner data accountable to Data & Finance Manager, ensuring that NS data adheres to ESFA funding rules by undertaking monthly quality checks and collating the monthly reports for Data and Finance Manager.

You will support engagement for APs with national or Government stakeholders and Naval Service key organisations and support the Data & Finance Manager in preparations and execution of readiness for OFSTED inspections.

What do I need to do the role?

You will require wide and knowledgeable experience of Apprenticeship funded Programmes and National Occupational Standards deliver with Functional Skills Knowledge and experience (delivery, data & funding).

You will also require OFSTED - Education Inspection Framework knowledge and experience

We would also like you to have the following:

  • Minimum L4 Teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • TAQA
  • Internal Auditor qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum level 2 (ECDL) or equivalent demonstrable proficiency in using IT software applications.
  • IOSH managing safely/NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Management Courses (PDR, Recruitment and Selection, People Management, Managing Change in the Workplace).

What else do I need to know?

  • All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks. Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage.
