Job Details
We are recruiting for a multi drop van driver (Cat B licence) in Patchway, Bristol for a Christmas temp driver position delivering parcels. There is the possibility to get a full time job out of it also. More details below!
About the job:
Driving a sprinter van delivering 50+ parcels to local residential and commercial addresses each day, you will be starting at 07:30 with an average finish time around 18:00 however you will need to be flexible with the hours as coming up to Christmas it will be busier. This is a Monday to Friday position with occasional Saturdays available as optional overtime.
The Bristol depot covers all of Bristol and the surrounding areas including the countryside so a good area knowledge and good driving ability is an advantage.
Excellent pay rates of £12.50 per hour PAYE + holiday pay.
This is initially a Christmas temp contract starting 26/10/2020 (you may be required a week earlier for training) working right up until Christmas. There is a possibility for the right candidate to progress to a full time role.
Candidate requirements & profile:
A full and valid Cat B Van Driving licence.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative.
Our drivers are the face of our company so we're looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly.
Previous multi drop experience is an advantage however training can be provided for the right candidate.
A maximum of 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes.
