An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Financial Analyst based at their prestigious facility in Kingston Upon Thames (at the moment working from home) This is a full-time temporary role to last to 31st December 2020, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to £40,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
Job description:
The Financial analyst will be responsible for ensuring correct accounting is in place by business partnering with technology team to ensure spends are registered, in line with forecast and with capitalization/restructuring policy. Analyst will own of Month End Close process and Forecast Planning reports.
Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare journal requests; prepayments, accruals, reclasses using Blackline
- Support with MEC and Forecast reports
- Support with budget control of spends and challenge variances
- Support restructuring accounting treatment and project reviews
- Support UniOps project with transformation initiatives
- Support SCOA/Control Framework and company policy implementation and effectiveness
- Support cost centre structure creation and cross-charge to the markets
Experience/Skills required:
- The ideal candidate will be part/post qualified with 3+ years' experience in Control/Financial reporting role for a multinational company
- The candidate will need to be keenly organised, and driven in managing multiple critical deadlines
- Attention to detail is a main competency needed for this role
- Be proactive and able to manage stakeholders into complying with SCOA principles and budgets
- Proficiency in Excel is required, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP's
- PowerBI experience is ideal but not necessary
