Immediate opportunities are available with Manpower working for Royal Mail, who are looking for Category B (3.5 Tonne light van) Delivery Drivers to sort and deliver mail and parcels to houses and businesses to work in their seasonal campaign. The Royal Mail Delivery Office never sleep, which means we’re able to offer 7 days a week work, starting between 11am up until 9pm with a minimum 20 hours work per week guaranteed. 

If you are able to work 6 days a week between Monday to Saturday, we would love to hear from you. As a Category B (3.5 Tonne light van) Delivery Driver you will be provided with PPE, full induction and training, and will be sorting and delivering mail and parcels in the local area, following socially distanced conditions in line with government guidelines regarding Covid-19.

What you’ll need to do:

  • Sorting mail for your route in the delivery office
  • Deliver mail and parcels in your local community
  • Use a hand-held computer device to act as your routing system and capture customer signatures for deliveries
  • Carry out relevant safety checks on the vehicle
  • Maintain Royal Mail’s excellent standard of service to their customers

What we’ll need from you:

  • A flexible, can do attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience of driving 3.5 Tonne vehicles in the UK ideal
  • Previous experience of working in a parcel multi-drop role would be ideal but not required
  • Good communication skills
