About the role
Here at Babcock we are recruiting for Vehicle Mechanics to be based in Tidworth, an MOD Military site. You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and overhaul of military vehicles, assemblies, electrical and general equipment including diagnostic and inspection duties.
What do I need to do the role?
Technical Experience and Qualifications
*Educated to Level 3 in Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) / National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) as a minimum (Advanced Apprenticeship, Level 3 VRQ/NVQ)
*Holds valid and appropriate UK driving licence.
*We will consider candidates from both a commercial or a military background.
*Experience with Heavy Goods Vehicles.
What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate must be willing to go through a SC clearance.
* This role offers a four day week, from Mon-Thu.
* All tools and PPE are provided by the employer.
