Although after training people return to work in the Manchester office you will be required to work the below hours/shifts. Flexible working hours is available dependant on request as shown below.

There will be full support in place to ensure you have the help you need but it will be important that you have a dedicated space suitable for work.

The role involves providing proactive support and information to enquirers and students on all aspects of registration and to subsequently reserve and register students, whilst adhering to service policy and practice. We also support students studying with us, by providing information and training queries to other departments within the university, where appropriate.

We communicate via, email, letter, web chat and other mediums as necessary. We also make use of computerised database systems to maintain customer, company and enquirer details.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

- Strong IT skills (previous experience with complex applications)

- Experience with using several applications at any one time

- Good communication/customer service skills (both written & oral)

- Ability to work of your own initiative

- Attention to detail

This role involves an initial 3 weeks full time training. The induction training for this role will be conducted online from home. You'll be able to see and communicate with your group throughout training, so you'll need to be either already comfortable with, or at least open to interacting with others via a web cam.

Throughout training normal office hours will apply and no annual leave is allowed during this period.

There is minimal annual leave available for the first 2 weeks after training, due to the high levels of support provided to enable new starters to embed their knowledge from training.

Please note interviews will be taking place via Skype video chat so all candidates must have access to either a laptop or smart phone.

Start date is 9th of November

All applications will be taken via CV.
