About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to provide Commercial guidance to Growth, Contract Change and Contractual issues across the Defence Business Unit.

Main responsibilities include leading and supporting negotiations with the Customer/Supplier on contractual issues where required, and leading/supporting new contractual documents including New Contracts, Supplier Contracts, Confidentiality Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Consultancy Agreements. You will also be responsible for providing governance guidance to the Defence business unit.

What do I need to do the role?

You will come from a commercial background in multi-disciplinary environments covering the contract life cycle.

You will have experience and / or knowledge of best practice governance processes and the ability to translate impact of negotiated terms on P&L and risk to delivery.

You will also demonstrate a proven track record of managing part or all of multi-million pound contracts and dealing with Authority customers and of leading/supporting contractual changes.

What else do I need to know?

This role will be primarily working from home with visits to Andover or customer sites in Abbeywood.
