Assistant Commercial Manager
About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Assistant Commercial Manager to join a team of five being responsible for the day to day commercial management of the Equipment Support, White Fleet contracts, and acting as the commercial interface with the customer and outside agencies/organisations in respect of these contracts.
You will assist with the strategic commercial management of the contracts and provide commercial support to the wider Land Defence business, including new business winning activities (bids) and supply chain contracting.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large defence organisation with potential career progression within the business.
What do I need to do the role?
You will have previous experience in a similar commercial role, along with knowledge of the Defence sector or car leasing.
You will also possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
What else do I need to know?
Bristol is a vibrant city in south west England with a wide range of attractions, landmarks, events and shopping. It has excellent transport links and is only 1.5 hours from London by train.
This role will be based at Bristol Business Technology Centre. The building has a capability of over 900 full time employees which is split over 4 floors, incorporating a Gym and Restaurant on the ground floor.
