Timber Forklift Driver

Manpower Ashford are looking for a Fork Lift Truck Driver to assist with duties on the Timber Merchant side of operations.

Our client is expanding due to volumes of work so a valid counterbalance and or reach FLT license are essential with relevant experience working with Timber. Salary will vary depending on experience between 27- 30,000.00 per year.

Working hours will be between 0800- 1800 daily but are subject to change depending on the operational hours due to the 24/7 nature of the business

Timber Picker duties include the following:-
Picking and sorting of timber from packs, to customers cutting list
Tallying of timber selected on paperwork
Banding and labelling of orders produced
Sorting, stacking and moving timber in and around the warehouse
Keeping the warehouse and timber racks clean, tidy, free of obstacles and well stocked.
Forklift Operator duties include the following:-
Using a front loading counter balance forklift to assist picking orders.
Helping loading and unloading lorries.
Covering holidays for Sideloader driver as backup driver.
