About the role:
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an RPE/SHEF Trainer.

The SHEF department supports the wider business units in fulfilling its mandatory H & S legislative requirements. The SHEF RPE/Trainer role is a permanent position within the SHEF training function. Predominantly day work but with the odd requirement to work outside the core hours of 07:30 - 15:45 as required.

Main Purpose of Role:
The role will include delivery of user training for all types of RPE used onsite and upon development delivery of training and advice to general H & S topics namely Confided Spaces, Work at Height, Manual Handling and many other areas of H & S interest.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need experience of face fit and RPE selection and legislative requirements with ability to be successful to NEBOSH standards.
The role requires development through NEBOSH certificate and on to the Diploma, both of which will be milestones for progression.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of the below:
* No formal H & S qualifications required but have ability to achieve NEBOSH Certificate and Diploma.
* GCSE Grade C or above in English, Maths & Science.
* Desirable to have some form of C & G or NVQ within Industrial skill topics

What else do I need to know?
* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
