Fibre Telecoms Network Assistant Project Manager

Manpower Engineering Telecommunications Division has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager in the South of England / Somerset for one of our premier fibre installation clients.

Working closely with the Project Manager and Operations Manager you will create a culture of performance managed work ethics across the teams. You will work beside the PM and client PM to make sure that works are planned correctly daily.

You will also be involved;

Supervising all Civil & OHL related activity on site

Coordinating materials supply and usage

Be a major part of programmed delivery

Tracking contractor performance to strict SLA milestones and daily delivery

Assist in the management of contractors and critique KPI's

Collate as built documentation to allow for handovers

Carry out quality and EHS audits

Regularly update site management on project and site issues

Maintain relationships between the client representatives and stakeholders

Ensure the jobs are done correctly first time

You will have;

Minimum 3 year's experience in home fibre rollout

Understanding of Fibre Networks and build

Proven supervisory experience working to deadlines

Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills

Good problem solving ability and adaptability to different situations

Proven track record of managing field crews

CSCS or equivalent

Full UK driving licence
