Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician (Commercial) to work on a temporary- permanent basis for one of our reputable commercial vehicle hire clients.

The position will involve repairing a variety of commercial vehicles (Vans & flat beds all commercial/ few cars no HGV).

Based from their Swinton workshop, you will also be involved repairs on-the-road which can be anywhere across the nation (expenses & van will be provided.) Any overtime will be paid or given in lieu- Over nights necessary only on very rare occasions (fully covered expenses & subsistence).

Hours worked will be Monday-Friday 7.30am (07.30 from home or depot- if called out for early repair will be paid from leaving home) -17.00pm.

Due to the nature of this position applicants must have previous experience dealing with commercial vehicles & you will have your own tools & a CAT B License.

If progressed to permanent your holiday entitlement will be 22+ bank holidays then works up to 25 for every year worked

• Pension scheme is enrolled after 3 months work
• After 12 weeks any overtime will be paid at 1.5
