Modular Building Fitter

My Client currently holds a fleet of 185,000 units throughout Europe, giving them a position in their industry as a global leader in Modular Space & Portable Buildings & storage solutions. In total, my Client operate across w have operations in 18 countries across Europe and 4 countries in the rest of the world, with a network of depot locations where accommodation and storage units are prepared for rental or sale and are refurbished as required.

I am currently looking to speak with Modular Cabin Fitters with level 2, 3 or 4 experience, who will assist in the preparation of a range of cabins prior to them going out on hire.

Working within a small Team in their Deeside depot you will be responsible for :

• Capacity & knowledge to complete all refurb plumbing
• Refurb the cabin in its entirety including bespoke element as per customer demands
• You will regularly read and interpret CAD Drawings
• To provide short term supervisory work if required
• To be able to mentor/ Train lower level workers
• The removal of internal fittings prior to works
• Assembly and cleaning of Value-Added Products (eg furniture).
• To work closely with and assist trades people.
• Continuously checking and working to Company quality standards in line with customer expectations.
• Always work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy and any additional site restrictions

Personal Characteristics

• Be used to working in physically demanding roles, with some heavy lifting & working in outdoor areas exposed to the elements
• Capacity to work as an individual as well as part of a team
• Has a strong work ethic.
• Flexible attitude to working & proactive approach to duties
• Used to working to & regularly achieving set targets/deadlines/KPI's

Work Experience

• Full understanding and acceptance of Health & Safety rules.
• Good mix of general maintenance skills.
• Competent in the use of basic hand/power tools.
• Certificates in MPBA or ECA
• To have completed IOSH Working Safely and SSSTS training
• To have completed a NVQ L2 (Modular/Portable Building Installation and Dismantling) qualification

Nice to have but excellent training will be given:

• Abrasive Wheels
• COSH
• Manual handling

Full UK Driving Licence (if relevant).

The salary is dependent on your experience & level of qualifications between £22450 - £26950
