They are a keyworker business and are involved in the manufacture of the Coronavirus antibody test, alongside a wide range of projects.
Due to a curve of growth within the organisation, an opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join the maintenance team, to take on the role of Manufacturing Technician, for a period of 4-6 months. For this new position, we are looking with someone with maintenance experience, who is eager to learn and has an interest in the repair and maintenance of laboratory and large-scale, industrial equipment. In an ideal world, you will be a mechanically-biased engineer. However, we are open to reviewing applicants from people from a number of disciplines, including new mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering graduates and recently qualified apprentices.
This a varied, hands-on role that will include the following:
- Determining and developing approaches to manufacturing assignments and processes.
- Technical duties requiring good planning and judgement.
- Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
My client is offering a salary of £18,000 - £22,000, dependent on experience. They are located in the idyllic Shropshire and are within realistic commutable distance from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and the surrounding areas.
