We are currently looking for a Turnaround (TA) Logistics Planner with Petro-chemical sector experience for our client in Fife. This is a full-time position until August 2021 and you will be paid £51,100 to £58,100 per annum (Pro rata PAYE)

The Turnaround Logistics Planner is responsible for the safe, qualitative and efficient planning and execution of the Event's logistical aspects, including (but not limited to):

  • Site preparation
  • Plot space allocation to internal clients, incl. alignment with stakeholders to this end
  • Temporary housing and messing facilities for up to 1.000 contractors
  • Shared services (such as cranes, cleaning, waste management)
  • Utilities (such as power, water, lighting)
  • IT services
  • Radio services
  • Traffic management, both within and outside of the fence line
  • Managing Security aspects of all the above
  • Initiating and following through to resolution, Management of Change for all of the above

Detailed expectations

SSHE

  • Application of Loss Prevention System to own activities
  • Alignment with SSHE team (Site Security Lead) as to the development of the Security plan for the IE
  • Alignment with SSHE team (TA SSHE Lead and Site Security Lead) as to logistical requirements for Induction process

Controls

Understanding and application of relevant Controls requirements regarding:

  • Contracted labour and rented equipment
  • Procurement of logistical services

Efficiency

  • Understands, plans and optimises requirements originating from different stakeholders
  • Identifies best practices for disentangling congested work fronts, consistent with site procedures on stacked work, vehicle/pedestrian interface, etc.
  • Assists in development of spec books / bidding packages for contracted services/equipment
  • Screens bids for technical and commercial viability, or ensures technical review is done timely and qualitatively when not technically qualified him/herself
  • Participates to contractor bid clarification meetings, and organises site/field visits when appropriate

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Has 5-10 years of relevant experience in similar position in a petro-chemical sector
  • Has a proven history of coordinating requirements of multiple departments
  • Has demonstrated formal leadership at a point in his career
  • Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience
