Junior Test Analyst
SF32912
Business Unit: Engineering Services
Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield
Salary: £26,680

About the role
You will join a vibrant team of circa 60 Developers, Service Engineers and Managers working across multiple sites. Our development teams use a range of lifecycle models including Waterfall and Agile practices. Importantly, our testers are working alongside developers as part of the same team because we believe better collaboration leads to better quality.

This combined with the demands of a commercial software operation means it is essential that the successful candidate is enthusiastic about quality whilst retaining the focus on delivering a fit for purpose solution to the customer within time, cost and quality constraints. This includes a full spectrum of current products and services, including Collaborative Working Environment (CWE), SharePoint, E&AM, Commercial systems and advanced data analytics and visualisation tools.

Reporting to the Test Lead as part of the delivery team, the Junior Test Analyst is responsible for supporting the Test Team with test documentation and execution. The role will predominantly be supporting the test function spanning our technology and customer portfolio. You will also be required to provide support of the testing solutions to the Test Team including working closely with the Test Analysts, and Test Lead. The current technology stacks we use are mainly Oracle and .NET.

The team already has a wealth of experience, which will help you grow and develop as well as being able to offer various training courses to support your day to day duties.

What do I need to do the role:
* Newly qualified graduate with a degree relevant to software engineering.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to foster effective professional relationships with others.
* Evidence of working in a team environment.
* Demonstrate self-learning/self-growth.
* Ideally we need someone with a driving licence (this isn't an essential requirement).

What else do I need to know?
* The post will be based in an environment regulated by Trade Control legislation and involves working with controlled goods, technology and/or services. You must be a sole UK national and hold current, active 'Security Check' (SC) or 'Developed Vetting' (DV) security clearance or be willing to undergo the necessary process to obtain security clearance.
* Candidates who do not meet the above criteria will not be considered for this post.
