Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Pot Noodle, Knorr, Marmite & Magnum are currently looking for a Data Analyst to work on their manufacturing site based in Crumlin, Kendon, Newport NP11 3AG . This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. This role is paying £22800 - £25500 pro rata depending on experience

As a Data Analyst (Manufacturing), you will be responsible for performance data used for analytical purposes. A key focus for this role day-to-day will consist of collation, input and creating reports from data gained from the manufacturing lines for the on-site leadership team, measuring annual targets, analysing data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities & anomalies and communicating findings and conclusions effectively to business stakeholders.

It's important that you can translate numbers into strong insights helping the business make better decisions enabling training to ensure issues previously encountered are avoided in future.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute towards the data strategy
  • Collection of data from manufacturing lines, carrying out data analysis on the gathered data and writing procedure to mitigate issues encountered.
  • Prioritising data and information requirements.
  • Ability to take briefs from Line leaders and line workers, question and challenge them as required to ensure clarity.
  • Perform information/data analysis using various techniques ranging from simple data aggregation to statistical analysis.
  • Communicate findings and conclusions effectively to senior business stakeholders through face to face presentations and summarised reports.
  • Data cleaning and enrichment projects.
  • Improve knowledge and self-service within the team by conducting training sessions.
  • Creating training documentation
  • Creation of Video content to demonstrate new processes and train staff on those new processes. (Training will be given)

Experience

  • Experience of working with Excel carrying out data analysis, via VLOOKUP's & Pivot tables.
  • Able to demonstrate 2 years of analysis work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a master of Excel and Pivot Tables
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse, model and interpret data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A methodical and logical approach.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including report writing
  • A strong drive for results, someone who makes a difference, a self-starter with a can-do attitude and a naturally inquisitive mind for data.
  • Passion for data, working with & analysing large amounts of data.
  • Excellent understanding of data modelling techniques and tools.
  • Highly fluent with PowerPoint and wider Microsoft Office suite.
