Our client, a leading energy provider are currently recruiting a Department Evaluator Administrator for 30hrs per week in the Dungeness area.

The role acts as departmental advisor on all aspects of the Corrective Action Programme (CAP) process within their teams and support management decisions. This is a fleet wide process used to maintain Site Licence compliance under licence conditions and to drive organisational learning and performance improvement.

It is an important role supporting the station and the wider business and contributes greatly to it being a success.

What are a Department Evaluators responsibilities?

Forward prompting and communication of assignment due

Creating smart assignments from departmental condition reports

Building route list for assignments dependent on the significance

Reviewing and challenging close out of actions to ensure the action criteria has been met

Attendance of the CAP Screening Meeting, including appropriate preparation

Skills & behaviours of a Department Evaluator.

Possess good influencing skills. Be open, honest and trustworthy.

Ability to work well within the team and other departments but also be confident to work on their own.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Be confident to challenge and raise concerns.

Taking ownership of the CAP process for their allocated departments

Willingness to prompt managers when required

Ability to coach/train members of their departments

Willingness to contribute to the continual improvement of the CAP process through the Dept CAP evaluator forum

Possess good basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) full training will be given on company systems.
