We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to work on site at with the Royal Mail. My client would like to engage the services of qualified electrician who can support and maintain the day to day operations of the deport. The role is offered initially as a temp position but may become permanent for the right candidate.
Duties and tasks will include some general maintenance and will not be limited to electrical work (however the core of the duties will). You will be providing support to the operations management team by troubleshooting, supporting and servicing everything from light fittings to fault finding on day to day equipment like sorting machines and air conditioners. The hours of work are from 8am to 4pm daily - Monday to Friday.
This is a great opportunity to broaden your skills and work with a large organisation. The role is due to start at the beginning of February until the end of March (but may be extended). Due to the vetting processes, we are starting the interview process in early Jan. This is so we can complete your background vetting and checks prior to your start date.
You will need to have a full UK Driving licence and a company vehicle will be provided if you are needed off site.
