Our client, a well-established energy company is looking for an experienced administrator to join their team based in Bridgwater.

Main activities & requirements will include:

  • IT Literacy, the ability to use computer systems to a basic level of competency.
  • General Keyboard Skills
  • Production of documents using e.g. word/excel/PowerPoint. Also uses email and calendar.
  • Able to locates & retrieves documents and records. (hardcopy & electronic )
  • Maintains organised filing system.
  • Preparation of documents /records for filing / archiving
  • General filing & archiving
  • General maintenance of printer's photocopiers/scanners etc including liaising with maintenance contractors, clearing paper jams, replacing toner etc.
  • Demonstrates competence in the operation of all office equipment e.g. scanners photocopiers, printers, computers etc in support of departments business.
  • Understands and demonstrates to a high standard good customer interface skills, along with overall good communication skills.
  • Understands and Demonstrates the protocols of communication, with all levels of staff e.g. email construction and business terminology
  • Understands and applies the relevant work management procedures and guidance notes as appropriate. (Training provided)
  • Use of Human performance Tools in the daily work place. (Training provided)
  • Able to prioritise work and respond to Work Management workloads.
  • Adhoc basic administration, in support of business need as directed by the line manager.
  • Undertake training to support raising a Work request & Action Request
  • Assist with production of Work Packaging as per station process.
  • Sets work order card to complete under Supervision.
  • Assisting in updating Data Entries in to Work Management process under guidance
