Plumbing & Heating Engineer
Minley, Camberley

About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join the Mechanical Team being responsible for planned and reactive maintenance services to plumbing & heating Systems across the Estate.

Responsibilities include:

  • To deliver planned, reactive and remedial maintenance services to all mechanical systems and equipment, heating, ventilation, water hygiene, sanitary and drainage systems, plus all associated components across the Estate
  • Complete day to day site checks, work orders, and repairs / fault finding as required in support of the company's service level obligations, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance which may include but not limited to temperature checks, flushing fire hydrants, cleaning shower heads, cold water tank inspections.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance jobs that come in frequently throughout day. These may include leaking taps, air handling unit faults, blocked toilets, repairing faulty pipework.
  • Weekly checks on ECV, GSV, Pressure Regulators, Gas supply and control
  • To repair gas boilers, works will include PCB boards, sensors, wiring, pressure switches, gas diaphragms, heat exchangers, modules, pilots, flu. Resetting gas values when needed.

What do I need to do the role?

You will hold a City & Guilds or equivalent in a related subject and are a Gas Safe registered Engineer.

You will also have previous experience in a similar role with a good knowledge of building service and plumbing & heating services.

A driving licence is essential.
