Manufacturing Shop Floor Operative

My client in the Lye area is looking for support on their manufacturing shop floor on a temporary basis. There is scope for the role to turn permanent for the right person. Hourly pay to start off will be circa £9 per hour.

They are ideally looking for someone who has some experience of working in on a manufacturing shop floor, who can follow instructions and who has the willingness to want to progress and take on responsibility and develop within the company.

To be successful you need to:

• Have experience of working in a traditional manufacturing shop floor environment.
• Be a flexible hard-worker, happy to learn various jobs and machines on the shop floor, taking instruction and advice on-board to make sure you achieve the right standards.
• Be able to start immediately.

The core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, with a short day on a Friday. However, to be successful for the role, you need to be able to get to Lye for a 6am start and leave after 6pm, and to work Saturdays. (just in case there is overtime)
