CNC Miller / Turner

We are recruiting for an apprentice trained machinist with Milling/Turning experience in Leeds, the company are a well-established engineering manufacturer with an excellent reputation in the industry. The position is initially for 6 months but has the scope to be extended after that time. Starting on a day shift with the intention of moving on to a mixed shift once training is completed.

Your role will involve programming and operating a 5 axis CNC Milling machine with Siemen's controls. You will mainly be manufacturing one offs with some small batch work, working on a wide variety of materials includes duplex, carbon steel and brass. You will be manufacturing components for the oil and gas industry and will be working to tight tolerances.

In return you will receive a competitive salary, overtime is paid at premium rates and there is free parking on site. The option to be paid self-employed is available.
