Transition Project Manager

Role description:

  • Responsibility for leading a project team in delivering a solution to the customer using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project according to the project charter, project agreement or contract.
  • Manage scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
  • Responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer.
  • Provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Must have 4+ years industry experience in Financial Services Sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
  • Involvement of deployments/rollouts on the infrastructure.
  • Successfully worked on other transition projects with a proven background in Project Management.
  • Perform assessment of End User environment and prepare report with findings and recommendations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 10.
  • Configure Windows 10 OEM configuration & Intune, implement other Group Policy changes.
  • Complete managed rollout of Windows 10 OEM and manage in Intune.
  • A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
  • Group Policy design and configuration.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be organised and be a team player.
