Manpower is currently looking to recruit 2 Integrated Service Assistants for one of our clients in West Sussex - NOTE this is based in either Crawley, Bognor Regis or Worthing - flexible. This is a full-time position, paying £10.01ph, to starting at the end of February until approx. 30/09/2021. This role will require you to work both from home and from your office base, this is to ensure that we keep to the guidance in relation to how many people can be in the building at any one time. The days and times you work from the office/home can be discussed on your successful application. You will receive training for the role, and this again will be both face to face and virtually.

Through the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help System, our client will work with children and families to help ensure that every child and family is supported to achieve his or her potential. The foundations for future mental health, emotional control, intelligence and parenting ability are all set in place in the early years and the home surroundings, family life and parenting are all important factors in determining positive outcomes for children in the future.

About the role

As a member of a dedicated team of Integrated Service Assistants in Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help, you will be accountable for providing information and support and will have responsibility for offering information and guidance and front-line service delivery for families and children in the new Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help system.

You will also provide reliable, efficient and effective flexible administrative support to the team (or across teams) of a high-level administrative nature relating to the delivery of the service whilst complying with statutory requirements. This will include responding to client queries, giving standard information and guidance relating to the service, maintaining records and producing standard correspondence, providing support and day to day processing according to set procedures.

This role is key to ensuring service continuity and availability as well as contributing to the smooth running of services and the effective introduction of new services or processes. You will also assist in maintaining effective partnerships with a range of organisations and outside bodies (e.g. Jobcentre Plus, GP's, Headteachers, voluntary sector) to ensure local community needs are met by the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help System.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally experience in dealing with the public providing an information service
  • Good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • The ability to work confidently with children and families
  • Be proficient with Outlook
  • Understand the need for confidentiality
