Gritter Drivers - Larne

Manpower Belfast are recruiting on behalf of the DFI. We are currently looking for Gritter Drivers for Larne. These roles are temporary until mid April.

As an "On Call Gritter Driver" you will be required to work on a rotational shift pattern basis. You will be scheduled to an AM or PM shift. AM is midnight to midday, PM is midday to midnight. You will also have a rest week every third week.

MAIN DUTIES:

Responding to work within specific time frames;

Carrying out gritting/snow ploughing operation as specified on allocated routes;

Dealing with any paperwork and data logging GPS equipment;

Carrying out vehicle checks;

Ensuring safety of public at all times;

Unloading any unused salt;

Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents and problems to supervisors;

Cleaning vehicle at the end of shift;

All duties as required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Successful candidate must have a valid CPC Card, and hold a Class 2 Licence.
