This is a brilliant opportunity for a Logistics Administrator who is looking to further their career and join a growing, very established local organisation. This is a temporary post with the view to become for the right candidate.
Some of your duties will include:
- Maintaining accurate stock records on computer system and recording details of all stock movement
- Raising purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers based in the UK and oversees
- Liaising with relevant freight forwarders to co-ordinate the import of new stock into the UK
- Tracking purchase order progress, making sure critical path is followed and delivery schedules are achieved
- Reconciling goods received against purchase orders and booking onto the stock control system
- Checking supplier invoices received and checking cost against original quotations.
- Check the status of incoming deliveries and inform related parties accordingly
- Verify invoices from suppliers and depots for ranges of charges including products received, storage and transport
- Ensure consignment details always remain accurate to include quantities/ arrival dates etc
- Ensure ongoing communication with transport providers
- To liaise and agree with the warehouse department on the appropriate stocking levels for any new parts added to the system.

- Proven time management skills: Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office Excel & Outlook
