To support and guide operational staff, ensuring that the highest standards of quality, service and efficiency are achieved and have specific responsibility for the safety, technical standard and quality of electrical installation work completed by the electrical team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a quality electrical service that meets regulatory standards is provided to our customers.
* Ensure that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
* Ensure NICEIC / BAFE accreditations are maintained by acting effectively as Qualifying Supervisor.
* Support the Quality & Compliance Manager in ensuring electrical performance, productivity and quality is maintained and audit reports are provided to the Service Managers.
* Support the Quality & Compliance Manager to ensure that the business' premises, equipment, documentation and records are available for inspection when required by NICEIC.
* Safeguard all unused NICEIC forms of certification and reporting any loss, theft or misuse.
* Undertake inspections of jobs, to ensure quality standards are being maintained and take corrective action as necessary.
* Undertake periodic inspections to electrical installations.
* Provide electrical technical updates to operational staff.
* Support the protection and safety of our customers by ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and safeguarding concerns are appropriately identified, monitored and reported.

* Works are carried out in a safe and effective manner in line with current regulations.
* Customer Service standards are effectively delivered and satisfaction levels meet our pre-set KPI's.
* Key training requirements are provided and adhered to.
* Compliance with all relevant Regulatory requirements, Policies and Procedures.
* The Electrical Team has a high level of cultural awareness and discipline around Health and Safety.
* Safeguarding concerns, suspicions or allegations of abuse are appropriately identified, recorded and sent to Tenancy
Enforcement.

The ideal candidate will have:

Essential:
* Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing up to 400v.
* Up to date working knowledge of inspection, testing and fault finding.
* Excellent knowledge of the current IEE Regulations.
* Ability to influence others and communicate effectively in conflict situations.
* Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
* Experience of using maintenance information systems.
* Excellent oral and written communications.

Qualifications:

Essential:
* City and Guilds 236 Pt 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3)
* City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent).
* IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671.
* IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671.

Desirable:
* Experience of working with teams to manage process and service delivery.
* Up to date knowledge of improvements and innovations within the industry.
