International Transport Planner

Manpower are thrilled to be working alongside a logistics specialist, who provide a number of road and air freight solutions to multiple industries.

Due to recent demand, they are looking to expand their team and bring on a Transport PLanner to join their international team in Coventry, to help monitor live, urgent transport movements; ensure that clients informed of shipment progress; and maintain over oversee their transport management system, in line with company & compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Confidently engage with suppliers and clients and agree individually bespoke, time-sensitive transport solutions
• To monitor company transportation process and be comfortable with administration
• To compliantly work with an in-house Transport Management System.
• Confidently supply requests for quotations.
• To help maintain and grow excellent client and supplier relationships
• Being able to work under pressure and thriving as a team
• To be able to undertake your role without the need for micro management & be strong in self task prioritisation

Skills

• Logistics/Freight Experience (Essential)
• International Planning Experience
• Bilingual (Advantage but not essential) - Don't feel like this is a must to apply!
• Good IT Skills covering TMS's, Outlook, Word & Excel (Essential)

Package on Offer

This position operates on a rotational shift pattern covering both mornings and afternoons on a 9 hour shift basis. The company do operate a night shift due to 24/7 operation but this role is for days.

Basic Salary of £22/£26,000 DOE
