A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Process Control System Engineer to join our client's building management solutions team based in Macclesfield to work across one of their most prestigious client sites. This role is full time temporary for 6 months initially, but this role is expected to be temp to perm for the right candidate. The rate of paying is £23.05 per hour PAYE, working Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm 37.5 hours a week.
**All successful candidates will be subject to a drug test prior to starting on site**
Responsibilities
- Undertake pre-planned maintenance activities across our clients Process control systems which are predominantly Siemens S7.
- Identifying faults across these process control systems, and rectify them where needed following strict change control measures
- Execute small control logic changes and assist with commissioning where needed.
- Navigate the process control systems and software to identify and resolve any issues presented within the systems
- Some travel to Didsbury office company car provided
Skills and Experience
- Strong Electrical & Mechanical background from working in a process control environment
- Process controls engineering experience
- Experienced in PLC fault finding and programming (Siemens S7 preferable) a must have
experienced in change control validation processes and procedures - GMP / GAMP process experience although training on this will be given for the right candidate
- Experience in computer validation ( COMVAL )
- Sound knowledge and experience of working across building management systems and controls.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
- Must have a full UK driving license
