Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Executive to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum, based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead (to work from home until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted).
This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 36.25-hour week, to start ASAP. This role is paying up to £32,000, pro rata per annum, depending on experience.
As a Commercial Executive your primary aim is provide and maintain information to fulfil the customer plan. You will be supporting Customer Account Managers on a day-to-day basis and meeting your customer's requirements. Your key contacts will be your immediate team, your customer, Supply Chain and Finance.
Responsibilities (to include):
- Promotional Support - updating the plan, translating the plan into numbers, monitoring the plan versus actuals
- Creating and tracking Provisions and Accruals
- Joint Business Planning Tracking
- Processing invoices
- Price accuracy
- Customer administration
- Team leadership
Accountabilities:
- Promotional administration
- Price file maintenance and query resolution
- Customer administration
- Invoices to be paid on time
- Monitoring team delivery and taking corrective action when required
Business Results:
- Provision of up to date, accurate information
- Implementation and execution of administration completed OTIF
- Systems accurately reflect the Customer Promotional Plan
Key Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to produce and use VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables (an assessment will be held at interview).
- Proven track record in a customer environment.
- Must possess good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workload, delivering to a deadline with accuracy.
- Strong communication and analytical skills are required along with an ability to build and maintain good, immediate and cross-functional working relationships.
