Class 1 Multidrop Day Shift or Night Shift Drivers

Our client is a leading logistics business in the North East with depots across the country. After an award-winning year, they have secured multiple new contracts and are looking for Class 1 Drivers to join them on a full-time permanent basis. The role will involve:

  • Multidrop deliveries throughout the North East (up to 26/day)
  • Delivering return loads back to the depot
  • Loading and unloading your trailer
  • Working any 5 shifts from 7 per week
  • Delivery of palletised goods
  • Average shift length: 8-10 hours
  • Night Trunks to various hubs, Birmingham, Coventry, Hinkley, Cumbernauld and Haydock
  • Company Uniform provided

Working out of Newton Aycliffe

To be considered for this role the below criteria must be met

  • HGV Class 1 entitlement (happy to hire newly qualified)
  • CPC and Digi Tachograph, ADR Certificate would be beneficial
  • Either experience with multidrop or Pallet Network
  • Have good customer service and communication skills
  • No more than 3 penalty points
  • No IN/DR/DD conviction codes
  • Positive, motivated and hard working

Competitive Salary

  • Up to £26,500 per annum for Dayshift Driver-plus additional shift allowance for ADR
  • Up to £31,000 per annum for Nightshift Driver-plus additional shift allowance for ADR
  • Weekly paid
  • Daily Tax free meal allowance

Must be able to pass regular drug and alcohol testing
