Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our Global FMCG Client Unilever, the powerhouse behind Persil, Comfort, Surf, Marmite and Ben & Jerry's, are currently seeking a Training Co-ordinator, based at their Burton upon Trent site. This is a full-time temporary role for 12 months, 39 hour week, paying between £23400 - £27300 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
Who You Are & What You'll Do
We are looking for a training coordinator to join our busy team and drive the training and skills agenda of the plant. The successful candidate will possess the ability to take the initiative, multi-task and have strong interpersonal skills as they liaise with all departments on site.
What You'll Do
The role of training coordinator is a busy and varied one. Your main role will be to:
- Own the process of training new starters and upskilling employees
- Review, update and maintain the plant skills matrix and training records
- Make and implement a training plan to improve the skill level availability
- Partner with the production supervisors to refine and improve the training program
- Track training needs and provide proactive training prompts for training needs
- Create and maintain meaningful and visible training reports and KPI's as required
- Coordinate new starter inductions
- Coordinate training courses - booking, materials, invites, evaluation and the recording of these courses
- Act as a point of contact for vendors and participants
- Other duties as required
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative
- Self motivated with a can do attitude
- Good communication skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages (especially word and excel)
- Proven experience as a training administrator, HR assistant or similar role
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
