Trailer Mechanic

Our client provides fleet services to customers cross Northern Ireland.

We are recruiting a Trailer Mechanic who will carry out Trailer repairs and maintenance to a variety of HGV trailers.

Suitable candidates will have mechanical experience working on HGV Trailers within a workshop environment.

Level 3 in HGV Repair is not essential

Flexibility is required to work a shift pattern

The Role:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs to across a variety of Trailer makes, types and brands
• Trailer PSV inspections
• Safety inspections and diagnose any faults or defects to be rectified
• Repair trailers to a high standard
• Complete job cards and paperwork required
• Communicate with customers based on work required
• High standard of work to ensure fleet downtime is minimal

What we are looking for:

• Mechanical experience on HGV trailers
• Ability to diagnose faults effectively
• Reliable and proactive approach to workload
• Full driving license, HGV License desirable but not essential
