Our client is a Global Electronic Manufacturing Solutions provider in Dublin. The business itself employs over 180,000 plus people across 100 varying sites around the world. They are now looking to add and experienced Learning & Development Specialist to their growing team.

You will work in collaboration with the senior leadership team to design, develop and implement learning solutions aligned with business strategies.

Responsibilities:

· Mentor and coach other trainers, facilitators, and team leaders.

· Partner with various department managers and HR team members to understand role-specific learning requirements.

· Develop and facilitate learning solutions and training workshops with a particular capability to work in a manufacturing environment.

· Implement evaluation strategies and establish benchmarks to determine the effectiveness of learning and development programmes.

· Evaluate current training programmes for effectiveness and recommend improvements for enhancing solutions.

· Consult with team leaders to design and develop online and blended instructional solutions that meet learning objectives and effectively engage the learner.

· Analyse and drive effectiveness and efficiency of Learning and Development solutions

· Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years Learning and Development experience.

· Third level qualification in HR or related L+D field essential, may substitute relevant experience in lieu of educational requirement.

· Experience in a manufacturing environmental is highly advantageous.

· Previous Lean/Six Sigma experience is advantageous.

· Ability to adapt to a non-routine and fast-paced environment.

· Proven ability to drive major initiatives and influence decision makers.
