About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Supervisor for our Rail business

You'll assist the Senior Supervisor and Project Manager in the planning and safe delivery of Track Renewals work packages in compliance with the appropriate Group and Line Standards and Safety Legislation within the agreed financial Contractual Allowables.

Specific duties include assisting in the detailed planning and execution of Track Renewals Works as allocated by the Senior Supervisor, being responsible for planning and directing the activities of track staff and assisting with and attending Whiteboard/Stage Gate meetings in accordance with Babcock Track Renewals Procedure producing the required outputs to support effective and robust delivery of the works to completion.

Other duties include:

  • Ensure agreed performance and other KPI's are met
  • Ensure compliance with Contract allowables for all works.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Safety Legislation and Welfare Regulations.
  • Ensure all works undertaken comply with contract specifications and Group and Line Standards.
  • Ensure all works are undertaken by competent staff.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll demonstrate experience in Permanent Way maintenance/track renewals, strong man management, organisational and planning skills and PTS, POS, COSS and Engineering Supervisor Experience.
